In a hurry? Here is a quick, simple guide on how to wrap a gift:
December is here and with it, office holiday parties. Love them or hate them, I find them a good excuse to get to know my colleagues better and interact with them outside work. That being said, I always find that it is still important to behave professionally and to dress appropriately for the party (every office has a crazy holiday party story, try to avoid being in it). Although the party attire depends on the venue and your office culture, I usually find it best to overdress than underdress. That is why I came up with a few different attire ideas that would work well in different environments.
As the holidays approach, the usual weekend sleepiness gets replaced with constant hustle and bustle. Christmas shopping, decorating the house for visiting guests, and trying to squeeze in some family time, take priority during these weeks. I absolutely love the frenzied atmosphere that the holidays bring, and luckily, I have found a vast array of activities in Atlanta to take part in.
So as part of my 31 things to do before December 31st, I made a new holiday playlist on Spotifiy. I really enjoyed going through all of the Christmas songs and picking out the ones that I think would be best for my holiday party. Memorable mentions go to She & Him’s “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”, John Lennon’s “Happy Xmas”, and Paul McCartney’s “Wonderful Christmastime”.
