Making a List and Checking it Twice

One of my favorite things to purchase on Black Friday is makeup and beauty products. You can usually find really big discounts on items like hair tools, skincare, and gift sets, in specialty stores or online. One of my favorite stores, Ulta, just released its Thanksgiving Savings guide. Really good values all around, especially for the CHI Straightening Iron (I’ve had one of these for almost ten years and I love it) and the Clarisonic Mia (I have the Pro, but my sister has the Mia, and it has become indispensable for both). You can check out the full list of the items that will be on sale here, or check out my favorite items below.

Oh, What Fun

As the holidays approach, the usual weekend sleepiness gets replaced with constant hustle and bustle. Christmas shopping, decorating the house for visiting guests, and trying to squeeze in some family time, take priority during these weeks. Holiday Mixtape

So as part of my 31 things to do before December 31st, I made a new holiday playlist on Spotifiy. I really enjoyed going through all of the Christmas songs and picking out the ones that I think would be best for my holiday party. Memorable mentions go to She & Him’s “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”, John Lennon’s “Happy Xmas”, and Paul McCartney’s “Wonderful Christmastime”.
